@ionores@twtxt.net @movq@www.uninformativ.de I reckon it was mainly luck this time. Hard to guess, but the grey heron was maybe 20 meters away at the closest point. I walked down a path and it came my way on the field. I slowed down and later even stopped. The bird probably noticed, that I’m not a threat and didn’t care too much about me. My camera has 12x zoom.
