Let's talk Hypervisors... The Hypervisor I choose to run in my Home Datacenter is Proxmox VE -- There are several reasons why I choose this as my platform: - It is fully 100% open source and based on open source software - it is easy to use and has a nice GUI if you need that - It has a Restful JSON API for automating your infra - It has built-in support for ZFS The last reason is the killer feature for me, other Hypervisors such as VMWare(_for example_) make you pay for additional **basic** storage features.
